Bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims’ overturns injuring 12, two critical

IDUKKI: 12 people sustained injuries after a bus carrying Sabarimala pilgrims overturned on the Thodupuzha-Pala Road near Karimkunnam. People on the bus were natives of Thrissur. The injured has been admitted at a private hospital in Thodupuzha. The condition of two is stated to be serious.

The bus overturned on the curve of the road while coming from Sabarimala after darshan. Rescue operations were conducted after the fire force and police reached the spot after being informed by the locals. There were 20 people on the bus. Transportation came to a standstill for some time following the accident.
