THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan has denied media reports that he has given instructions to make preparations for the swearing-in ceremony. The CM was replying to a media query regarding the news that came in English daily 'The New Indian Express'.

"The fact is that the government has not thought about such things. There is a method to think about such things and decisions can be made only in that way," he said.

The CM further mocked the media by saying, "Everyone knows that there are a lot of imaginative people among you."

It was reported that the Chief Minister had directed the Public Administration Department to hold the swearing-in ceremony on Monday itself if the Left Front continues to rule. The New Indian Express reported that the Chief Minister had suggested that the swearing-in ceremony should be shortened to a simple ceremony at the Raj Bhavan.
