Employee of Thiruvananthapuram Zoo sustains injuries in tiger attack

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An employee of Thiruvananthapuram Zoo was attacked by a tiger. The injured is Ramachandran, the supervisor. The tiger attacked him when he was trying to take the plate from the tiger’s cage to clean it. He sustained injuries on his head.

Ramachandran has been admitted to the medical college hospital. The tiger that attacked him was brought from Wayanad. The employees said the tiger unexpectedly attacked him by putting its hand through the bars of the iron cage. There are four stitches on his head.
