Flex boards appear against Sukumaran Nair in Pathanamthitta again, protests ‘Save Nair Forum’

THIRUVALLA: Flex boards appeared against NSS General Secretary G Sukumaran Nair again at various places of the state. Banners in the name of ‘Save Nair Forum’ appeared in Peringara near Thiruvalla. The banner against him first appeared at Vettipuram in Pathanamthitta.


The banners are presently seen in front of NSS Karayoga building number 1110 in Peringara, at the nearby Cosmos Junction, Peringara Junction and at the Lakshmi Narayana Temple Junction.


Increasing the intensity of the protest, the image of Kattappa stabbing Bahubali from the back in the pan-Indian film Baahubali has appeared in the banners today.
The banners appeared today has asked Nair to resign his post, a community traitor who insulted thousands who gathered to protect the rituals of Sabarimala Ayyappa Swamy, should resign'.


The banners were also raised in Peringara following the protests that began at Vettipuram in Pathanamthitta. These incidents are being seen as an indication that the protests against the NSS General Secretary are spreading to more places.


Sukumaran Nair's pro-government remarks after the Global Ayyappa Sangamam were widely discussed. He openly expressed his faith in this government and supported the government on the Sabarimala issue. He also criticized the UDF and the BJP in harsh language. After this, criticism was leveled against Sukumaran Nair from various quarters.


A banner against him in Pathanamthitta said that he was doing Pinarayi's padaseva by stabbing the community for his own family. A flex board against him has also appeared at Poonjar in Kottayam. A similar flex board against Sukumaran Nair appeared in Neyyattinkara and Thiruvananthapuram. The protest board was put up in front of the Kuttiyanikad NSS Karayogam.
