Girl found hanging in bedroom; dies in accident on way to hospital

KASARGOD: A girl found hanging in her bedroom died when the car carrying her to the hospital met with an accident. The accident happened at Bethurpara, Kuttikol in Kasaragod. The locals rushed the injured to the hospital soon after the accident, but the girl's life could not be saved.

The dead is Mahima (20), daughter of late Babu of Thacharkund House in Bethurpara. Mahima was found hanging in her bedroom at around 8 am today. When her mother Vanaja and brother Mahesh were taking Mahima to the hospital, the car in which they were travelling met with the accident in Padimaruth.

Mahima was a nursing student at Nullipady in Kasaragod. Vanaja and Mahesh are undergoing treatment in the hospital. It is not clear whether Mahima died due to hanging or the accident. Mahima was alive when she was taken to the hospital.
