KOCHI: While considering the case against YouTuber Sanju Techy, the High Court spoke against vloggers who change the appearance of vehicles. The court also said that motor vehicles department officials should inform if the vloggers threaten them.

The Transport Department has also been instructed to take strict action against those who violate the law and challenge the Motor Vehicle Department. The court said that action should be taken by sending a notice if necessary. The suo motu case against Sanju will be heard again on June 13.

Last day, the MVD submitted an action report against TS Saju alias Sanju Techy, a native of Alappuzha's Kalavoor, and his friends in a case of driving dangerously on the road after setting up a pool inside the car.

The report said that the Alappuzha Magistrate Court was approached to prosecute the accused and an FIR was registered on the complaint made to the Mannanchery police citing violation of the law. Proceedings have been initiated to suspend the registration of the car. Suryanarayan, a native of Thondankulangara who drove the car, had his license cancelled for one year.

Sanju Techy, Suryanarayanan and G Abhilash, a native of Aryadu South, who were with the car, attended the three-day training at the Drivers Training Institute in Edappal. The were also directed to do a one-week community training at Alappuzha Medical College. The report states that Sanju is a vlogger with 15.9 lakh subscribers on YouTube and has uploaded 812 videos.
