Lena shares pictures from NASA Space Center, thanks husband Prashant Nair

SpaceX's Falcon - 9 took off with the Dragon spacecraft carrying four astronauts, including Indian Shubhanshu Shukla yesterday. Lena's husband Prashant Balakrishnan Nair was the backup pilot for the Axiom-4 mission. In case Shubhanshu Shukla had to withdraw, Prashant was scheduled to replace him. Both got trained at the private space company Axiom Space.

Prashant was also at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida until the launch was completed on Wednesday. Lena had shared a video he filmed from there on Instagram the other day.

Lena and Prashant got married on January 17, 2024. Lena herself announced this. The actress shared the information on social media, clarifying that her groom is an Air Force Group Captain from the Gaganyaan space mission team and that she was waiting to announce this information after the astronauts were announced.
