Munshi Hari passes away, actor noted for 'Motta' from Munshi series bids farewell

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Munshi Hari alias N.S. Harindrakumar, who became famous through the Munshi series on Asianet News, passed away. He was 52 years old. He collapsed on the roadside while walking home from Elippode after a trip. Harindrakumar was then taken to the Medical College Hospital, but his life could not be saved. The body has been kept in the Medical College Mortuary for postmortem procedures.

Harindrakumar was made famous by the character Motta in the Munshi series. He shaved his head for 18 years for this character. Harindrakumar has also won the President's Award. Hari was an active presence in the cultural scene of Thiruvananthapuram.
