One killed in fireworks accident during church festival

MUVATTUPUZHA: One was killed in an explosion triggered by fireworks during a church festival. Another person sustained serious injuries. The accident happened when the firecrackers exploded during the fest of Kadathy St Peter’s and St Paul’s church.

The dead is Ravi of Kadathy and the injured is James. He has been admitted at the Kolencherry Medical College. The accident happened Sunday morning at 8 am. The accident occurred in a room where firecrackers were kept for the church fest.
