Organs donated again in state; Air ambulance carries Krishnalal's heart to Kottayam

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Krishnalal of Thiruvananthapuram, who was declared brain dead in an accident, will give a new lease of life to five after his family decided to donate his organs. His heart, two kidneys, liver and eyes are being donated.

Krishnalal, 33, who was injured in a car accident, was declared brain dead while undergoing treatment at the KIMS Hospital in Thiruvananthapuram. Krishnalal's heart has been taken to Kottayam Medical College Hospital by air ambulance this afternoon. This is the fifth organ donation that happened in Kerala in two months.
