'Our first major work in Thiruvananthapuram city'; BJP leader VV Rajesh opens up

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: VV Rajesh, BJP leader and likely new Mayor of Thiruvananthapuram corporation, opened up about the first major promise that he would fulfil upon assuming office on the 26th of December.

Rajesh, while talking to the media, said that all promises given by BJP will be fulfilled by the end of the tenure, but highlighted his wish to strongly consider ending the street dog menace in the capital city before anything.

VV Rajesh:

“When India becomes the host of the Olympics in 2036, a competitive event will be held in Thiruvananthapuram. The uncompromising fight against corruption in the last 5 years helped us win the corporation. I am very happy to see a strong opposition, mainly because it will ensure a healthy debate in the house. This victory of BJP is the result is the collective efforts of many party workers and leaders.

We will follow the development path set by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Thiruvananthapuram in 45 days and announce development projects.”
