THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Minister Saji Cherian has stated that "Kerala Story 2," the sequel to the controversial film, is merely another creation from the Sangh Parivar factory, which he claims produces nothing but falsehoods. The minister expressed that the "Kerala Story" aims to undermine the secular spirit of Kerala by fostering communal polarization. His comments come in response to the recent release of the film's teaser.
"The filmmakers are once again attempting to tarnish Kerala, a model of secularism, by portraying it as the epicenter of religious extremism. This is a deliberate effort to disrupt the peaceful atmosphere in Kerala by repeating unfounded allegations like love jihad and spreading hate speech."
"Freedom of expression does not grant anyone the right to polarize the country or create divisions among its people. Presenting arguments that have been discredited by investigative agencies and courts as truth is done strictly for political gain. Kerala will stand united against such attempts to sow seeds of communal discord," the minister clarified.
