Protests against Chief Minister continues in the state; DYFI activists' protest at Cantonment house; several Congress activists injured

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: There has been widespread conflicts in the state as CPM-DYFI activists also took to streets against Youth Congress protests demanding CM's resignation. During DYFI march to Cantonment House, Satheesan's official residence, three DYFI activists trespassed into the house. One of the protestors was detained by the opposition leader’s staff and was handed over to the police. The Opposition leader was not present in the capital yesterday.


Youth Congress district secretary Bilal Samad was fatally injured in a lathicharge by the police during a police march in Thodupuzha. N K Premachandran MP, State secretary A A Azeez and 32 people were injured in Kollam collectorate march. Conflicts were also reported in Kozhikode. Two Mahila Morcha activists were also arrested in Thiruvananthapuram for protesting. Several protests were organized by Congress and BJP.
