Rs 66 lakh embezzled in two years; Employees led a luxurious life using Diya Krishna’s money

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The crime branch said the former employees of ‘Oh by Ozy’, owned by Diya Krishna, daughter of BJP leader and actor Krishna Kumar, had embezzled Rs 66 lakh from her store. The chargesheet filed by the crime branch said the three employees jointly embezzled the money. The three employees and one of their husbands have been named accused in the case. Vineetha Juliet, her husband Adarsh, Divya Franklin and Radha Kumari have been implicated in the case.

The crime branch said the three led a luxurious life with the stolen money. The accused have been charged with breach of trust, theft and cheating. The accused embezzled around Rs 66 lakh in two years. Krishna Kumar himself had filed a complaint with the Thiruvananthapuram Assistant Commissioner against the three for embezzling money. The Museum Police had registered a case on this complaint. The three employees then filed a complaint against Diya and Krishna Kumar. The complaint alleged of kidnap, threat, theft and insulting womanhood. However, police said the complaint filed by the employees is untrue.
