SSLC exam results announced; Record win, 99.47 is pass percentage

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister V Sivankutty announced the results of SSLC exams held in March 2021. The pass percentage is 99.47. The pass percentage last year was 98.82. This is for the first time in the history of the state, the pass percentage has crossed 99. The district with highest pass percentage is Kannur and the least is Wayanad.

The education minister congratulated the students who achieved great success in the midst of the crisis created by Covid epidemic and the teachers who supported them. 1,21,318 students secured A plus in all subjects. Only 41,906 students got A plus in all subjects last year.

In Malappuram, 7838 students got A plus in all subjects. The exams and evaluation happened during Covid times. This time there was no grace marks. However, the evaluation was generous. The education minister said the date for SAY exam will be informed later. A student can appear for SAY exam in three subjects.

A total 4, 22,226 of students had appeared for the exam this year.
