SSLC exams to begin on March 5, 2026, results to be declared on May 8

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Education Minister V Sivankutty on Wednesday announced the exam dates for SSLC (class 10). The exams will begin on March 5, 2026 and end on March 30. The exams will start at 9.30 am. The IT model exam will be conducted from January 12 to 22. The IT examination will be from February 2 to 12. The model examination will be from February 16 to 20. The results will be declared on May 8, 2026.


The exam fee has to be paid from November 12 to 19, 2025. Applications with fine will be accepted from November 21 to 26. The evaluation will be from April 7 to 25, 2026. There are a total of more than 3,000 examination centers, including seven centers in the Gulf region and nine in Lakshadweep. 4,25,000 students are appearing for the SSLC exam.


The first-year public examinations for the higher secondary (plus two) and vocational higher secondary (VHSE) will be held from March 5 to March 27, 2026. Second year public examinations will be held from March 6 to 28. The first-year examination will begin at 1.30 pm and the second-year examination at 9.30 am. It will begin at 9.15 am on Friday and end at 12 pm.
