Students throw firecrackers at teachers' vehicles after exams; shocking reason revealed

MALAPPURAM: A complaint has been filed that firecrackers were thrown at the vehicle of teachers who had come for examination duty at ARHSS School in Chendappuraya, Malappuram. The teachers have said in their complaint that some students threw firecrackers out of anger over not being allowed to copy in the examination hall. The firecrackers were thrown at the vehicle in which teachers Deepukumar and Unnikrishnan, who had come for examination duty at the school, were travelling.

The incident took place yesterday. The Plus One and Plus Two exams were held yesterday. The teachers say that some students tried to copy during the exams and the students threw firecrackers because they were prevented from doing so. The school principal has filed a complaint with the Tirurangadi police regarding the incident. The police have decided to examine the CCTV footage.
