Three fishermen killed after bike rams into tetrapod

KOLLAM: Three fishermen were killed in an accident at Thanni in Kollam. Al Ameen, Maheen and Sudheer, natives of Paravur were those killed in the accident. The accident happened Friday early morning at 3 am near the Thanni beach. Those on morning stroll saw the bike and the three lying on the road.

The bike in which they were travelling rammed into the tetrapods. The three were fishermen of Thangassery beach. Police said the accident may have happened while they were returning after fishing. The bodies have been shifted to the district hospital. The police have started an investigation.
