Woman dentist with slit throat, dies in hospital in Neyyattinkara

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A dentist brought to the hospital with her throat slit, has died. She has been identified as Soumya (31), wife of Adarsh of Amaravila Alathara house in Neyyattinkara. The incident happened early Friday morning. Soumya got married four years ago. Relatives said not having children was mentally disturbing her.

Soumya was brought to a private hospital in Neyyattinkara with her throat slit at 2 am. Only her husband and mother-in-law were at home at the time of the incident. Soumya found lying in a pool of blood, was immediately taken to the hospital, but her life could not be saved. Initial reports said that it was a suicide. The police have registered a case and started an investigation.
