Woman found hanging from window grill of bedroom; police launch investigation

KASARGOD: A young woman was found hanging from the window grill of her bedroom in Uppala. The deceased has been identified as Fathimath Nasbeena (25), wife of Moideen Savad from Kodankai Road.

She was found hanging around 4 p.m. today. She was first taken to a hospital in Uppala and later shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru, but her life could not be saved. The woman has a three-month-old baby. Her body has been moved to Kasaragod General Hospital for post-mortem. Manjeshwaram Police have registered a case and launched an investigation into her death.
