Youth records reel with python wrapped around his neck as forest officials look on

THRISSUR: A youth sparked a controversy after he captured a python and posed for a social media reel with the reptile draped around his body, even as forest officials looked on. The incident occurred late on Monday night at Thanippadam in Aloor.

According to locals, the python was first spotted in a canal running through a populated area. The forest department was informed, but attempts to capture the snake were unsuccessful. Subsequently, Sajeev, a local resident, took it upon himself to catch the reptile. After catching the snake, he draped the snake over his shoulders and recorded a reel, which quickly spread on social media.
