MV Govindan's only job is to justify CM who has no image now: K Surendran

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP state president K Surendran on Thursday said that MV Govindan can make no correction in the CPM or the government. He said in a statement that MV Govindan has only the job of justifying the Chief Minister.

"Govindan is adamant that Ezhavas should always vote for CPM. Govindan says that all Ezhavas who vote for BJP are communalists. The Chief Minister's toxic propaganda has led to concentration of Muslim votes towards the UDF," he said.

"LDF and UDF are in competition to appease fundamentalists like Popular Front of India and Jamaat-e-Islami. Anti-people policies and communal appeasement led the Left to a massive decline. Govindan is hinting that the Chief Minister's family rule and corruption will continue. The CPM secretary says that there is an attempt to destroy the image of the Chief Minister. Everyone knows that the Chief Minister has no image now," Surendran said.

"CPM is hounding Seena, a resident of Eranjoli where a bomb blasted, for speaking openly about the bomb blast. She said seriously that their children could not even play in the nearby fields because the CPM kept bombs. The explosion took place near the party office. Things unheard of in this century are happening in the Chief Minister's own place. BJP will not allow to alienate Seena for speaking the truth. The first thing CPM should stop is bomb politics," he added.
