THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president K Sudhakaran MP said that the CPM state secretary should be ready to appoint a better home minister before collecting waste from the Congress. It has been five years since the Home Department of Kerala became a place without an owner. The CPM should not turn a blind eye to Pinarayi Vijayan, who does not know how to govern despite the presence of countless advisers. Without emptying the treasury with advisers and trainers, the LDF should be prepared to govern better, by considering constituent parties in departments including the home ministry, if they have no competent people. If the Kerala Police is not released from RSS control soon, there would be strong protests from the Indian National Congress, Sudhakaran wrote on Facebook.
Kerala has degenerated into a vicious circle where the atrocities of the police force deployed to protect the people are to be seen. Who will teach the force the basic lesson that the police are there to help the people? The CPM should not lose sight of the fact that the public has started saying that the Kerala Police would have done a better job if at least one stick had been there in the chair of the Home Minister. The party secretary, who is looking into whether there are internal problems in the Congress, should immediately expel the RSS affiliates and make a capable CPM MLA ready to become the home minister. If they are afraid, the CPM should be prepared to place a stick in that chair and ensure the protection of the lives and property of the people, as the people say. The party secretary should not forget this duty while collecting the garbage flowing from the Congress, Sudhakaran said in his Facebook post.
