THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The health department constituted a medical board to monitor the treatment of former chief minister Oommen Chandy. A six-member medical board has been constituted comprising expert doctors from various departments.
The medical board will review Chandy's health condition and treatment. The medical board members will communicate with the doctors of the private hospital. As per the instructions of Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, Health Minister Veena George visited the hospital where Oommen Chandy is being treated and met the doctor and relatives. The health minister later met the chief minister and held discussions.
