THRISSUR: CPM state secretary MV Govindan said Suresh Gopi would not win the election even if he camped in Thrissur for 365 days.
"If you try to politicize charity, then it is not charity anymore. It can be called political activity. Voters of Kerala will recognize BJP's move. BJP's vote percentage in Thrissur is decreasing significantly. Before the last election, the BJP had said that it would form the government in Kerala. However, everyone saw that the vote share of the BJP went down from 16 percent to 12 percent. It cannot be assumed that Rahul Gandhi will make an impact in the coming parliamentary elections. Let us see how many seats will they lose this time," Govindan said.
