IDUKKI: CPM state secretary M V Govindan has responded to the allegations of Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling case. The allegation is not taken at face value. While preparing the script, should prepare a serious one. He also clarified that this will be dealt with legally.

'I don't know Vijesh Pillai. There are no Pillais’ in Kannur. Politics is behind the allegations. We have no problem approaching anyone with anything to hide. Let them reveal everything. Whoever it is, I am telling him, have you explained what you have to explain? Your script is not going to work here. Don't expect things to happen as you wanted,' said Govindan. The march cannot be stopped, added Govindan.

Swapna alleged that Govindan had entrusted Vijesh Pillai to negotiate with her to withdraw the charges against the chief minister and his family after accepting Rs 30 crore, and hand over the evidences and leave Kerala.

Meantime, Vijesh Pillai denied Swapna Suresh's allegation. 'I don't know M V Govindan. No affiliation with any political party. Approached Swapna for an OTT web series. Told Swapna that Govindan is a native of his hometown. Don't just make accusations, expose the evidence, he said.
