KOCHI: Swapna Suresh, accused in the gold smuggling case, came forward against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Brahmapuram fire. In a Facebook post, she alleged that the chief minister’s former principal secretary M Sivasankar, has a role with the contract company in Brahmapuram, and that is why he remained silent on the issue.

‘Thanks to the chief minister for responding on the issue after 12 days of silence. I know why he kept silent on the issue in the assembly. Maybe because his right hand man is in the hospital. The chief minister remained silent as Sivasankar has a role in this deal with the company. Requesting the chief minister to get back the mobilisation advance given to the contract company and distribute it among the people and those coming forward to extinguish the fire in Brahmapuram. I was in Kochi and had to escape to Bengaluru because of you but not dead yet.’
