Student of College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram commits suicide

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: An engineering student of College of Engineering Thiruvananthapuram (CET) in Manvila has committed suicide. He has been identified as Shamsudeen (29) of Ponnani. Shamsudeen was found hanging Wednesday morning in the building under construction in the campus.

He was the instructor of IIT in Chackai. He was doing part time engineering (evening course) in CET. His classmates said that he was in class yesterday. The reason to take the drastic step is not known.
