‘Pappa is very sad since hearing news, have never seen him so weak before,’ says Ajith Antony

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Ajit Antony, brother of Anil Antony, who joined the BJP, said that he is hopeful that his brother will correct his mistake and return to the congress party. Ajith while talking to the media said Anil joining the BJP is a big blow to the family.

‘Many from the Congress party called and spoke very badly to my brother. He said that he is staying away from the party due to that, but did not think that he would take such a decision. It was a hasty decision and did not expect him to join the BJP. When heard this news, Pappa was very sad and saw him sitting in a corner. I have never seen him so weak before. Hope Chettan will return after correcting his mistake.'

‘I think they will throw him out like a curry leaf. Chettan will understand that. Alphons Kannamthanam and Tom Vadakkan had joined the BJP. Where are they now. I pray that this situation should not happen to him. Our parents have given us the freedom to take a decision on anything as a human being, but have told us to think about it before taking a decision. They are very sad with this one incident. The BJP says their party works for the country; they claim as theirs all the works started by the congress.’
