Vijay to become Stalin’s rival? Fans association conducts survey ahead of actor’s entry into politics aiming at next assembly elections

CHENNAI: As per reports Thalapathy Vijay is preparing to launch a political party thus paving a way to new political equations in Tamil Nadu. It is reported that the move is aimed at the next assembly elections in the state. A survey has started among voters to assess the possibility of Vijay’s entry into politics. The survey is conducted by Vijay Fans association and Vijay Makkal Iyakkam. The news about the survey came out while BJP is constantly trying to establish their roots in the state. Some political observers now suspect that the survey is conducted with BJP’s support.

It has been decided to conduct survey in all the constituencies and booths in the state. Important political and social situation of each place, prominent persons residing there, their profession, number of wards in a booth and details of winners of the last five elections are mainly collected. Vijay is likely to enter politics only if the survey results are positive.

Rajinikanth had earlier made a move to enter politics but backed out at the last moment. Kamal Haasan had formed a party and contested the elections but it didn’t make any impact. As AIADMK has collapsed, DMK does not have an actual opposition in Tamil Nadu.

At the same time, steps have also been taken to recruit more people to the Vijay fans club. It is believed to be aimed at forming a political party. The members have also been directed to participate in various celebration programs along with voluntary activities. Following this, they celebrated Ambedkar Jayanti and organized Iftar feast in the month of Ramzan.
