Terrorist attack in Kashmir, five jawans killed; PAFF claims responsibility

NEW DELHI: Terrorist organization PAFF claimed responsibility for the attack in Kashmir in which five soldiers were killed. The same terrorist group was behind the attack in Poonch where an army vehicle was attacked and soldiers were killed. It is claimed that the Jaish-e-Mohammed-linked PAFF ambushed the soldiers as per a pre-planned attack.

PAFF informed that after the terror attack in Poonch, it was assumed that the army would conduct a search in the forest, and the soldiers who entered the forest were attacked according to this. Five soldiers were martyred in an encounter between terrorists and the army in the Kandi area of ​​Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir this morning. Two injured soldiers are undergoing treatment.

The army was searching for terrorists hiding in the area following the April 20th terror attack on an army truck in Poonch. The Army launched a joint operation at 7:30 am today based on information about the presence of terrorists in the Rajouri forest. The terrorists who were lurking inside the cave in the forest were attacking the soldiers heavily. Two soldiers lost their lives in the explosion by terrorists. Three soldiers died while being treated for injuries sustained in the blast. More soldiers have been sent to Rajouri from neighboring areas.
