Pulimurugan's 7-year record will be history; '2018'— most successful movie ever in Mollywood

In just 10 days' time, the movie '2018' has grossed Rs 100 crore in total collection. This is not just any Bollywood or any high voltage Telungu drama, but a disaster-based movie that came without much ado or promotion in Kerala. Lucifer is on the ranks for crossing Rs 100 crore in just 12 days' time. Meanwhile, theatre owners in Kerala, are fiercely optimistic about breaking the collection record of the 2016 blockbuster Pulimurugan's total of Rs 152 crore. Puli Murugan, Baahubali 2, KGF Chapter 2, and Lucifer are occupying the first four positions, respectively.
