THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The University of Kerala may file a complaint with the police regarding impersonation in the union elections at Kattakkada Christian College. The university is likely to demand to charge a criminal case. The syndicate meeting to be held today will take a decision in this regard.

The move to remove the principal from the post, examination, question paper and evaluation duties is also under consideration. The legal aspect of barring principals from contesting Senate elections will also be examined. The principal has written to the registrar that he has defaulted.

The principal gave the list and information of those who won the election very late. The Union Council was supposed to come into existence on February 27.

According to this, the notification was published on the website on March 9, including other office bearers. The principal list was sent on May 5. Later a special notification was issued. This notification shall be canceled by the Syndicate. Although the principal produced the resignation letter given by Anagha who was selected, it is

indicated that Anagha gave a statement that it was written under pressure.

A Visakh, who did impersonation, asked the principal to produce his admission documents at the college. This is to check whether the registration of having previously taken graduate admission in Sanskrit College has been canceled and whether he has the specified qualification to take admission in B.Sc.Physics.
