BHOPAL: BJP leader arrested for urinating on tribal youth. As per reports Pravesh Shukla was arrested and taken into custody this morning. The arrest came after the video went viral on social media. A case has been filed against Shukla under the SC, ST Act and the National Security Act.

A video of Pravesh Shukla urinating on the face of a tribal youth in a drunken state went viral on social media the previous day. The police informed that Shukla, a native of Sidhi is being interrogated and further action will be taken. Meanwhile, Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra responded that the government will not hesitate to use bulldozers if the accused has illegal assets. He added that the details of Shukla's assets are being collected and the report will be available by evening.

The accused is reportedly a close aide of Sidhi MLA and BJP leader Kedar Nath Shukla. At the same time, there are also reports that there is pressure on the tribal youth to say that the video is fake.
