Two youths arrested for selling drugs; MDMA and cannabis seized from them

KANNUR: Two youths were arrested while selling drugs in Kannur. Kannur Range Excise Inspector Sinu Koilyathu and his team arrested Mariarani (21), a native of Thrissur, and Shinto Shiju (23), a native of Sulthan Bathery, Wayanad.

Based on confidential information received by Exise, both were arrested yesterday at Theki Bazar. 23.779 grams of MDMA and 64 grams of cannabis were seized from them. The police informed that both were living together in Udupi.

They have stated to the Excise that they used to deliver drugs to the sellers as per their requirement. Kannur Range Excise Civil Officers CH Rishad, N Rajith Kumar, M Sajith, K P Roshi, Ganesh Babu, T Anish, P Nikhil, women civil excise officers P V Divya, K V Shaima, P Shamina were part of the investigation team.
