THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Everyone is busy with Onam celebrations. But if you aren't aware of the upcoming bank holidays, you might find yourself in trouble. There will be a span of five consecutive bank holidays in the state starting from tomorrow. Thus, it's advisable to carry out direct transactions today. The forthcoming 27th will be a Sunday which is a holiday and since the subsequent day is Monday, it will also be a holiday. On August 29th, Thiruvonam will be observed followed by the Third Onam on the 30th, the Fourth Onam and Sree Narayana Guru Jayanti on the 31st.
Furthermore, there will be a total of nine days of bank holiday in the month of September. These holidays are as follows: the 3rd Sunday, the 6th for Sreekrishna Janmashtami, the 9th for the Second Saturday, the 10th for the Second Sunday, the 17th for the Third Sunday, the 22nd for Sree Narayana Guru Samadhi, the 23rd for the Fourth Saturday, the 24th for the Fourth Sunday, and the 27th for Prophet's Day.
