NEW DELHI: Former Congress president Sonia Gandhi has been admitted to hospital due to a chest infection. Sonia was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi yesterday evening. Sources at the hospital say that Sonia has been suffering from a lung infection for some time and was admitted to the hospital as part of a routine check-up.
Sonia was admitted to the same hospital twice earlier due to a lung infection. Hospital authorities say that there is no need to worry about the current health condition.
