THRISSUR: 18 grams of MDMA hidden in the kennel were seized. The kennel was behind the petty auto parked in the yard of Shino Rans' house at Olari Sivaramapuram Colony. The drugs were hidden in the kennel of a pit bull.
The pit bull dog belongs to the breed that obeys only its master. Excise Range inspector Abdul Ashraf, who led the raid, said that is why the drug lobby chose the kennel to hide the drugs. Drugs are sold at midnight. Untimely vehicles and youngsters are a big nuisance to the local residents.
After getting the information, the excise conducted a surveillance for several days and conducted the early morning raid when the dog is tied to another place. Shino Rans’ brother was an accused in the drug case before. The officials informed that a detailed investigation will be conducted on the lobbies who supply them with large quantities of drugs, the retailers who buy drugs from them and the customers.
