Karuvannur case: CPM leader says he was beaten up by ED officials 

KOCHI: A CPM leader has complained that he was beaten by the Enforcement Directorate officials during interrogation in the Karuvannur Cooperative Bank fraud case. The Ernakulam Central Police conducted a search at the ED office in Kochi following the complaint filed by party leader and Vadakanchery municipal councillor P R Aravindakshan. The police team headed by the CI is conducting the inspection. But the ED officials informed that Aravindakshan left laughing after the interrogation.

ED questioned P R Aravindakshan last day. Later he sought treatment at the hospital. Following this, a complaint was filed with the police, along with the documents of the treatment sought.
