THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC President K Sudhakaran ridiculed CPM's public interaction programme. Oommen Chandy spent 18 to 20 hours without eating or sleeping for the public interaction program with the people because of his deep love and concern for them. Sudhakaran challenged the Chief Minister to hold such a program.
'The CPM, which criticized Oommen Chandy's public interaction program and attacked those who participated in it, has now come forward with the same programme. The only Chief Minister of the country who had won an award from the United Nations for his public interaction program was welcomed with stones and placards. CPM chased away people in many districts. The event was held under heavy police presence.', said K Sudhakaran.
K Sudhakaran said that the CPM, which had spread the word that this was the job of a village officer, is now conducting public interaction as a five-star program by including meetings with prominent people and feasts. This has given the party members the opportunity to collect as much donation as possible. Sudhakaran also accused Pinarayi of denying the financial assistance of thousands granted by the Oommen Chandy government through the public interaction programme, when he came to power in 2016.
