Twist in Koduvally petrol pump theft; Imitation gold necklace stolen

KOZHIKODE: A significant twist has emerged in the theft at the Koduvally petrol pump. The necklace stolen from the pump attendant's bag turned out to be made of imitation gold. What's intriguing is that the girl's mother had unknowingly removed the genuine gold necklace from the bag. So, a replacement necklace was stolen.

The police have arrested two minors in connection with the robbery at the Koduvally petrol pump as they were positively identified in the CCTV footage. This incident occurred yesterday afternoon. The stolen items included a necklace and three thousand rupees from the employee's bag which was kept in a room within the pump. The employee only discovered the theft when she went to retrieve her bag after her shift in the evening.

As a result, the CCTV footage was carefully reviewed. It clearly showed a person wearing shorts and a t-shirt entering the room unnoticed and exiting after committing the theft. Following a thorough search two accused were arrested.
