Minister Vasavan lashes at ED for taking away land documents

KOTTAYAM: Cooperative Minister V N Vasavan said that it is foolishness to say that the money has not been returned to the investors in Karuvannur. While talking to a private channel, he said the payment was delayed because all the land documents were taken away by the ED. He said that out of Rs 208 crores, Rs 76 crores have been returned to the investors and investments of Rs 110 crores have been restructured.

‘There is a delay in payment as they had taken all the documents from the bank. They took 162 documents. What right they have to take the documents from the bank. Shouldn't the document be returned to the debtors when they come to pay money? How to give them which was taken away by the ED. It has become a problem. ‘We will implement what the chief minister said that will return without losing a single rupee,’ said Vasavan.
