Kerala BJP should be changed drastically, image should be improved, Nadda and Shah to visit capital city

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: BJP national chief J P Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will reach Kerala to make arrangements for the Lok Sabha elections. Nadda is coming to inaugurate NDA's secretariat march on October 30th. Amit Shah will arrive on the second week of December to inaugurate the state-level 'Janajagarana Yatra' led by the state president K Surendran. Shah will address a huge rally in Thiruvananthapuram.

Surendran's yatra is from Thiruvananthapuram to Kasaragod. About 25,000 activists will accompany the yatra, which will pass through all the 20 Lok Sabha constituencies in the state. Central leaders will participate in the reception at the main centers.

NDA's secretariat march is against the corrupt administration of the Left Front government and seeking justice in issues including in the Karuvannur bank fraud. The party is planning to fight the corruption of the Left government. From November 1 to 20, evening meetings will be held in around 2000 centers across the state. The meetings will raise the issues including Karuvannur.

The central leadership's directive is to go down to the people without ending the strike with the secretariat march. The central leadership has directed to drastically change the organization of the BJP in the state, improve its image and approach politics seriously.

The state leadership is also prohibited from issuing unnecessary statements. Only the leader nominated by the state president is allowed to respond to the media. The channel has withdrawn those who are not factual in their discussions.

A training camp is being conducted for the party's representatives in the third week of November. There are about 2900 representatives in the state. Guidance will be provided on how to increase party presence and exercise governance participation.
