MUMBAI: Reliance Chairman Mukesh Ambani has reportedly received death threats in the form of an email. Gamdevi police officials informed that Ambani received the message from an email ID named Shadab Khan.
The unknown person has demanded Rs 20 crore from Ambani. The message threatened that if the money was not paid, Ambani would be killed, and emphasized, "We have skilled shooters in India." Following the receipt of these death threats, security personnel have filed a complaint with the police.
The Gamdevi police have registered a case in response to the death threats, and an ongoing investigation is in progress. It is worth noting that Ambani and his family faced similar threats last year. Mumbai Police had arrested an individual from Bihar in connection with that incident. The threats had targeted Antilia, the Ambani residence, as well as the HN Reliance Hospital, with threats of bomb attacks.
