Nayanthara set to become South India's highest-paid actress, star earns staggering salary for new film

Nayanthara is on the verge of becoming the highest-paid actress in South India. It's been reported that her remuneration has significantly increased following her Bollywood debut with the film "Jaawan." Moreover, Nayanthara has been chosen as the female lead in Mani Ratnam's upcoming project KH 234, which stars Kamal Haasan. She is set to earn a staggering amount for her role in this film.

The official announcement of KH 234 was made recently. Initially, Samantha, Trisha Krishnan, and Sai Pallavi were considered for the female lead role. However, Nayanthara has now been finalized as the heroine of the film. "Jaawan," which was released last month, achieved remarkable success at the box office, grossing over 1146 crores.

Nayanthara is expected to be paid a whopping twelve crores for her role in KH 234. The actress has been enjoying immense success, especially with films like "Jaawan" and "Iraivan," both of which performed exceptionally well at the box office. Her previous films earned her ten crores each. For the 2016 Telugu film "Babu Bangaram," she received a significantly lower salary, six times less than her current remuneration.

KH 234 is being jointly produced by Kamal Haasan, Mani Ratnam, R. Mahendran, and Siva Ananth under the banners of Raj Kamal Films International, Madras Talkies, and Red Giant Movies. The cinematography for the film will be handled by Ravi K Chandran, renowned for his work in Mani Ratnam's hits such as "Kannathil Muthamittal" and "Ayudha Ezhuthu."

The film also features Anbariv Masters as the action choreographer, Sharmishta Roy as the production designer, and Eka Lakhani as the costume designer. The official title of the movie is expected to be revealed soon. With her impressive remuneration for KH 234, Nayanthara is set to become the highest-paid actress in South India, reflecting her immense popularity and success in the film industry.
