ANGAMALY: A woman and a man were caught while smuggling drugs in a tourist bus operating on the Bengaluru-Kochi route. The said persons, Sajith (28), of Madeppadi in Mannam in North Paravur, and Siya (32), of Valiyaparambil in Pallithazham, were arrested with 50 grams of narcotic drug by the Rural District Anti-Narcotics Special Action Force and Angamali Police. Following a tip-off received by District Police Chief Vivek Kumar, Angamali stopped the vehicle in front of the KSRTC stand and checked it. The drug was hidden in a special compartment in a bag.
