League state council member in Nava Kerala Sadas, seat was given next to CM; presented problems of hometown, says leader

KASARGOD: Muslim League State Council Member N A Abubakar Haji attended the Nava Kerala Sadas morning meet. He is a famous industrialist in the district. Haji was given a seat next to Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.

‘I never thought it would be a political issue. I presented the problems of our hometown. I came to say what has to be said for the development of the hometown. Don't see politics in this. I am happy to have shared the issues along with the chief minister. It is a good thing if people's demands are accepted in Nava Kerala Sadas. Only if all join hands together, it will be a hometown. Not responding to other issues,’ he said.

The League leader attended Nava Kerala Sadas boycotted by the opposition alleging extravaganza. Manjeswaram MLA abstained from the event. It was also notable that the chief minister criticized the Congress at the inaugural function yesterday but did not say anything against the League. Meantime, complaints galore on the second day of the event.
