Malayalee flies abroad to meet lover, wife ends life after getting message not to return 

MUMBAI: A 26-year-old woman committed suicide after her husband had gone to meet his Ukrainian girlfriend. The dead is Kajal (25), a native of Kalyan in Maharashtra. Her husband Nitish Nair has been arrested for abetting suicide, on the complaint of the woman's father.

Nitish was working in a shipping company. He used to go to Ukraine occasionally for work where he had met the woman. His wife came to know about her husband's illicit affair in last September.

She saw some of his photos with the woman. She had warned her husband to not visit Ukraine again and also not to continue the relationship. On November 8, he told his wife that he was going to his office in Mumbai but left for Ukraine. After reaching there, he sent a message to his wife that he will not return.

The depressed woman hanged herself after seeing her husband's message. She ended her life after informing her mother and friends. Nitish returned to India on learning about her death and was arrested then.
