KOCHI: Opposition leader V D Satheeshan lambasted CM Pinarayi Vijayan for his tacit approval of DYFI workers manhandling Youth Congress protesters. Satheeshan threatened that MPs and MLAs of Congress would hit the streets to wave black flags at CM Pinarayi Vijayan if commoners' protest were subdued with physical power.
“ The Chief Minister's seat is occupied by a criminal-minded person who has ordered the killing of opponents and burning of houses when he was party secretary. This is why he justified the attack on youth congress workers. What CPM and DYFI activists have done in Kannur is hooliganism with even women not spared but were attacked with helmets and flower pots.” Satheeshan said.
The opposition leader also accused the Chief Minister of evading corruption-related queries but rabble-rousing on the Nava Kerala Sadas about ideals in politics. "Not a single complaint of Endosulfan sufferers was resolved. The poor are not even allowed to go near the CM. BJP did not come forward against Navakerala Sadas because of the unholy nexus they cherish with CPM" Satheeshan said that UDF will conduct a Vicahrana Sadas, as a fitting reply to CPM’s now-running Nava Kerala Sadas, with participation from farmers and labourers.
