'Most corrupt people that Kerala has ever seen, movement who loot people'; entrusted bus to MVD for safekeeping, says Robin Gireesh

PATHANAMTHITTA: Hours after the Robin bus was seized by the Motor Vehicle Department (MVD), bus owner Gireesh has come forward with a response. Gireesh said that the MVD officials seized the bus with the help of the police after the bus reached Ranni the other day.

"The MVD officers reached the spot along with police officials and took the bus into custody after the last passenger got off the bus in Ranni. They first gave directions to shift the bus to the AR camp. The officials said that they were taking the bus into custody for 'violation of permit'. Four AMVs have been working against me from the beginning. They are creating a lot of problems. They don't even have the knowledge to read and understand what the courts have said. Didn't the whole world see an official saying that he didn't understand anything after reading the judgment of the Supreme Court?" Gireesh said.

Gireesh further mocked the MVD by saying that the bus was entrusted to the MVD officials for safekeeping.

"I did not start this venture hoping that everything would be set straight in three or four days. MVD is a movement with the most corrupt officials. They have been looting people since 1947. As I'm fighting against such a system, the problems that I am facing now are very small. Maybe I'll face even bigger problems tomorrow," he said.

The MVD officials seized Gireesh's bus today morning citing continuous violation of the permit. The MVD arrived early morning at 2 am with a heavy police escort. The bus was shifted to Pathanamthitta AR camp.

The MVD has registered a case against Robin Bus. Officials of the MVD said action will be taken to cancel the license of the drivers and vehicle permits. Action may also be taken against vloggers called for violation of the law.
